actually part of the baby boomer generation. The baby boomer generation refers to those born between Showa 22 and 24.
A Discovery from a Simple Question
Hearing this made me recall a time when I was talking with friends about our grandparents. From the perspective of our younger generation, the baby boomers seem like “the distinguished people of the past.” However, when we actually listened to our grandparents’ stories, we realized that they too had dreams to pursue and faced failures in their youth. At that moment, a friend jokingly asked, “Did our grandpas also appear on TV like Mino Monta when they were younger?” We burst into laughter. It made me think that Mino Monta must have gone through his own struggles in his youth to achieve his current status, which made him feel more relatable.
