The Rise and Fall of YouTubers: Are Hikaru and Rafael Finished or Just Evolving?

Question from a reader:
I have a question about YouTubers like Hikaru and Rafael. Are they being called “over” or “finished YouTubers”? Recently, I’ve noticed some controversies and a lack of appeal in their thumbnails, which has made me wonder. Additionally, I’m curious about their involvement in politics. If anyone has more insight, I would appreciate it!

Changes in YouTubers
and My Thoughts

Recently, YouTubers like Hikaru and Rafael have often been labeled as “over.” Especially when controversies arise or their thumbnails seem less appealing, it’s easy to think that way. However, personally, I don’t believe they are completely finished.

Hikaru’s Ambition

Hikaru is truly an entertaining character, and I always find myself laughing while watching his videos. He continually incorporates new projects and collaborations, which keeps things fresh and engaging. Admittedly, there are times when his thumbnails can be overly flashy, which might detract from interest, but his storytelling and ideas definitely shine through. The other day, I watched Hikaru’s videos with a friend and we had a great laugh. I was genuinely impressed by his innovative thinking. Each of his challenges is unexpected, prompting me to laugh and think, “How does he come up with that?” It’s those moments that make me want to watch more.

Rafael’s Consistent Style

On the other hand, Rafael has a calm demeanor, and his style leaves a lasting impression of consistency. The term “business as usual” fits him well, and there’s a sense of comfort in his stability. Watching his videos gives me a feeling of relaxation. I particularly enjoyed his reactions during delivery projects, which had me laughing out loud.

Involvement in Politics

Recently, there has been an increase in YouTubers making political statements, which is somewhat concerning. I’m not sure if Hikaru will get involved in politics, but his influence certainly adds weight to his words. Personally, I find it intriguing to see how they will use their influence. Nonetheless, I would prefer that they focus on entertainment. Discussing politics can be complicated, and it would be a shame to dilute their humor.
