I love discussing boxing with my friends, especially when the conversation shifts to Inoue Naoya and Nakaya Junito—I just can’t stop! Recently, a friend asked me, “Is Nakaya Junito stronger than Inoue Naoya?” That’s a pretty tough question to answer.
The Strength
of Inoue
I truly believe Inoue Naoya is a special athlete. Considering the level of opponents he has faced, Nakaya hasn’t yet reached that stage, making it difficult to compare them. However, Inoue’s defensive skills, speed, and use of lead punches are definitely outstanding. His jab and short hooks catch opponents almost magically, and it’s truly impressive. During my conversation with my friend, I recalled Inoue’s performances against fighters like Moloney and Cortez, and thought, “There’s no way Nakaya could pull off a fight like that.” Every time I recognize Inoue’s strength, I feel the depth of boxing.
The Appeal of Nakaya
On the other hand, Nakaya Junito is also an incredible fighter. His punching power and combination punches in close combat are particularly impressive. When I think back to the knockdown scene in his fight against Quejar, I’m amazed by his technical skill. Despite being tall, he uses his body skillfully to throw punches, almost like he’s dancing gracefully. However, against Inoue, I think Nakaya would get hit less frequently, so he would need the ability to deliver a powerful strike with one punch. I believe Nakaya has that power, but avoiding Inoue’s fierce uppercuts would be a formidable challenge.
In Conclusion
In the end, it’s hard to definitively say who is stronger, but I think Inoue currently has the upper hand. That said, I’m excited to see how Nakaya continues to grow, and I can’t wait to watch his upcoming fights! It feels like my enjoyment of boxing has increased. What do you all think?
