Question from a reader:
Is Nakai-san not from Hiratsuka School?
Discussion about Nakai-san and Hiratsuka Gakuen
Recently, I received a question regarding Masahiro Nakai. The inquiry was whether he attended Hiratsuka Gakuen. It turns out that he indeed had a stint at Hiratsuka Gakuen, but due to work commitments, he transferred to Yoyogi High School. This leads to some interesting stories.
Reason for Transferring and Life at Yoyogi High School
The reason Nakai-san transferred from Hiratsuka to Yoyogi was likely due to his career. He may have been paving his path into the entertainment industry from an early age. Surprisingly, he was classmates with Takuya Kimura at Yoyogi High School. Just imagining what kind of days they spent together in the same class is exciting. I have my own memories from university, studying with friends and sharing stories about our part-time jobs. While studying law, I had moments where I felt the law in everyday life through my part-time job at a judicial scrivener’s office. Sometimes I would arrive too early and wait outside the office, but it became a routine to enjoy coffee and sweets at a nearby café during that time.
The Presence of Nakai-san
A figure like Nakai-san, who attracts attention, is undoubtedly captivating. I’m curious about how he experienced school life and would love to hear more about his stories with classmates. In particular, imagining the friendship he had with Takuya Kimura and the conversations they shared is delightful. I often think it would be wonderful if their youthful stories were compiled into a book someday.
