Question from a reader:
It seems that Mako-sama’s husband, Kei Komuro’s mother, is set to publish a tell-all book. Do you think it will become a bestseller or even a million seller? Do you think it will sell well?
Considering the Fate of the Tell-All Book
Recently, I heard the news about Kei Komuro’s mother planning to publish a tell-all book, but honestly, whether it will become a bestseller is uncertain. I’ve thought about this quite a bit.
Has Public Interest Faded?
Certainly, the topic of Kei might have slipped from
the minds of many people. Personally, when I hear his name, I find myself thinking, “Oh, I remember that person,” and he seems to have faded into the recesses of my memory. Because of this, I believe many people might just skim through his mother’s tell-all book rather than purchase it. I also feel a bit hesitant to spend money on a book that I could just read casually.
What Will the Content Be Like?
As for the content, it will undoubtedly be limited. If details leak out through weekly magazines or online articles, the necessity to buy the book diminishes. I remember a time when I saw the content of a book I borrowed from a friend online, which made me decide against purchasing it. So, this book might face a similar fate.
The Troubling Keyword: “Money”
Above all, what concerns me is the keyword “money.” It feels like the mother’s intentions are quite transparent, and it leaves me with mixed feelings. Those who were hoping for serious content might find it a bit disappointing. Personally, when I see this business aspect, I tend to pull back.
What Do You Think?
So, that’s my take on the situation. What do you all think? Do you believe this tell-all book will sell well? Or has public interest faded to the point where it won’t garner much attention? I’d love to hear your opinions and experiences in the comments! I’m very curious!
