Question from the reader:
Is Fujisawa Satsuki’s forehead a “Fuji-zukuri”? I’m curious about that.
Fujisawa Satsuki and the Fuji-zukuri
Ah, it seems everyone is curious about Fujisawa Satsuki! I’ve looked into the concept of a Fuji-zukuri myself in the past. A Fuji-zukuri is said to be a beautifully shaped forehead, historically associated with the idea of wisdom and intelligence. Fujisawa certainly seems to embody that charm, but what’s the actual truth behind it? Recently, while watching the Loco Solare matches, I felt they were struggling a bit. There was a discussion
about steering a ship, and that’s exactly it; the way the team moves can significantly change the outcomes. I’m truly impressed by the younger players from the Karuizawa club. The energy of youth can sometimes overwhelm even the veterans, which is one of the fascinating aspects of sports.
A Little Digression
Speaking of which, I’ve also been leaving home earlier lately, often waiting at a café to catch the matches. I tend to indulge in too many snacks while sipping my coffee. Before I know it, I’m completely full! But that excitement before the match has become part of the fun for me. I digressed a bit, but we also mentioned Ōmiyatani Anna. She too has a Fuji-zukuri and is a fantastic player. It’s kind of endearing to see players with similar features. Watching the performances of these athletes inspires me to push myself harder. What do you all think about Fujisawa and Ōmiyatani? If you have any interesting stories related to Fuji-zukuri or comparisons with other players, I’d love to hear them in the comments!
