I can’t remember the name of an anime I used to watch a long time ago. I thought I might find it here, so I’m asking for help. I’m currently 34 years old. I believe I watched it during my elementary school years, possibly in the fourth grade or
maybe even middle school, during summer vacation in the mornings. I think it might be something like Detective Conan or Kindaichi, but I haven’t been able to find it on my own. The only thing I remember is a scene where the main characters visit an old Japanese house with many tatami rooms. There was a short grandmother and a woman of average height, who might have been her daughter or daughter-in-law. In the end, the grandmother was already deceased (I can’t remember if she was murdered or if she had passed away due to illness), but the woman was pretending to be the grandmother, kneeling down and using a tape recorder to mimic her voice from another room.
