Questions from Readers:
I have some questions regarding the leaked photos and LINE messages of Nagano Mei and Tanaka Kei. It feels like most of those things are only meant to be seen by them, so why does everyone believe it right away? In today’s world, it’s easy to create fake images with editing or AI, and I think photos
taken by a third party are more genuine. Isn’t it strange that private photos get leaked in the first place? If I were in their position, I wouldn’t even take such pictures, and if I did, I’d expect to have more than just one photo leak. I’m not particularly interested, but I was curious enough to ask.
Thoughts on the Nagano Mei and Tanaka Kei Leak Incident
Recently, the leak of private photos and LINE messages of Nagano Mei and Tanaka Kei has become a huge topic of discussion. I saw the news and it made me think a bit. Maybe people believe it so readily because they are such famous individuals? However, in today’s world, with the ease of editing and AI, it’s hard to tell if the leaked items are genuine right away. When I talk with friends, I sometimes wonder, “Are these really theirs?” Especially when only one private photo gets leaked, it feels unnatural. The more I think about how such things get out, the more mysterious it seems.
A World Where Private Lives Are Exposed
Speaking of which, I’ve seen private photos of friends as well. Once, when a friend was drunk, he let go of his phone, and we ended up taking a lot of funny pictures together. The next morning, I was nervously checking, thinking, “What did we take?” In the end, there were plenty of hilarious photos that made us all laugh, but if any of those had leaked, it would have been a bit unsettling. Also, I’ve heard that Tanaka Kei is known for enjoying alcohol, which does raise the risk of something happening while he’s drunk. When friends are drunk, they sometimes show sides of themselves they usually don’t, or spill secrets. If those moments were recorded, I wouldn’t want them to be made public.
What Lies Behind the Leaks
It’s also concerning that the agency’s response isn’t very clear. If the claims were completely unfounded, they would likely refute them more strongly, leading to doubts that perhaps they are hiding something. Especially for those of us who are aware of past scandals, there’s that feeling of, “Oh, here we go again…” Furthermore, if the leaked content is genuine, it’s understandable that someone would want to capture moments of a couple enjoying their relationship. If I were in that position, I would also feel the urge to point a camera at them. But thinking about what could happen if it got leaked makes one cautious.
