The plan was to enjoy a day filled with floral displays, a delightful lunch, and some sweet treats before heading back in the evening. With only a 50-minute journey from Oshiage, it seemed like a perfect destination to explore together. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes with one transfer, which means we’d have to leave even earlier.

Given our limited time, I think a compromise could work. We could prioritize Kamakura in the morning, allowing us to visit key drama locations and enjoy the serene beauty of the temples. Afterward, we can head to Yokohama for lunch and some delightful sweets. This way, we cater to my mother’s interests while still indulging in the things I love about Yokohama.
