Kinoshita Haruka was indeed a very popular talent in Hokkaido at one time. I remember seeing her in commercials during my student days. Her bright character, especially on morning
information programs, had a way of uplifting viewers just by watching her. However, since she has now moved her base to Tokyo, her recognition in Hokkaido may be gradually fading. With the influence of social media, new talents are emerging one after another, making it challenging to keep up. I’ve heard that Tada Moeka is currently reigning as the top local talent in Hokkaido. It really makes you realize how times change.
My Memories and a Little Episode
Actually, there was a time when I was working part-time at a judicial scrivener’s office, and my colleague, who was a fan of Kinoshita Haruka, got really excited talking about her. While watching old footage of her, they exclaimed, “She was the best back then,” which piqued my interest as well. Her bright smile seemed to be directed at me, and I couldn’t help but smile back.
