For example, I recalled a story from a friend who attended a company drinking party at a major corporation. He mentioned that he was invited by his boss to go to a second party afterward. At that moment, he felt that declining the invitation might affect his job, so he ultimately decided to join. As a result, he couldn’t enjoy himself fully because he was apprehensive about ruining the atmosphere of the gathering. This made me realize how situations can be created in work contexts where it’s difficult to refuse, which can lead to sexual violence. The pressure to say yes, especially when the invitation comes from someone in a position of power, can be overwhelming. I remember when I was younger, I was invited to a drinking party by a senior colleague, and although I wasn’t really interested, I attended. Cultural Issues and Their Impact
